These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings for assessments and training sessions with Empire Dogs. By making a booking, you are agreeing to the following:
1. Bookings & Payments
1.1. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your assessment or training session.
1.2. Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email once payment has been received.
2. Cancellations & Rearrangements
2.1. A minimum of three (3) working days’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a booked assessment or training session.
2.2. Cancellation or rearrangement requests must be made in writing (email accepted) and will be deemed received on the date the request is acknowledged by Empire Dogs.
2.3. Requests received with less than three (3) working days’ notice will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
2.4. Requests received prior to this period will be refunded in full, or the session may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
2.5. Failure to attend a booked session without notice will result in forfeiture of the full fee.
3. Weather Conditions
3.1. All assessments and training sessions will proceed in all weather conditions, including rain and cold, unless an official UK weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for the time and location of the session.
3.2. In the event of cancellation due to an official weather warning, Empire Dogs will contact you to reschedule the session at no additional cost.
4. Responsibility & Liability
4.1. Handlers remain responsible for their dogs at all times during assessments and training sessions.
4.2. Empire Dogs will not accept liability for any loss, injury, or damage to persons, dogs, or property, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
4.3. You must disclose any known behavioural or medical issues relating to your dog at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
5. Health & Welfare
5.1. All dogs attending sessions must be up to date with vaccinations and be microchipped in line with UK legal requirements.
5.2. Empire Dogs reserves the right to refuse participation if a dog shows signs of illness or poses a risk to safety.
6. Consumer Rights
6.1. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.
6.2. If Empire Dogs is unable to provide the agreed service due to circumstances within our control, you will be entitled to a full refund or rescheduled appointment.
7. Governing Law
7.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
7.2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
