I have searched for a long time to find a good dog trainer and I’m so glad to have found Sebastian @Empire Dogs. He is very knowledgeable, calm and professional. Very easy to get along with and absolutely no judgement atall. I was so pleased with the progress just in the first 2 hour session. Can’t wait to continue and see the final results. So worth the money and would definitely recommend!

Alberto, my 3-year-old miniature schnauzer has been spoilt (by me!) his whole life and walking him never used to be the pleasure it now is. He pulled on the lead, directed and took charge of our walks making them an often stressful experience for me. I’m now the one in control and fully understand and appreciate the benefits that being a softie with him and spoiling him is kept for indoors only or outdoors only if he behaves.

His reactivity towards strangers and kids is now much better managed and I don’t get the sense of dread that I used to get when people approach us. His reactivity indoors is also greatly improved, and I no longer dread people ringing my doorbell, given the incessant barking and growling he used to do. More work is needed to control his reactivity when people enter my home but I’m confident that the tips you gave me and my next session with Empire Dogs will also resolve that.

Enjoyable with my lively cocker spaniel Rocco, Rocco would always pull on the lead and be into everything everywhere always interested in what’s going on around him, after our session with Seb I can now say Rocco now walks next to me no longer pulling he doesn’t jump or pull when we see other dogs or even his favourite (Rabbits). Our walks are so much more relaxed and enjoyable I no longer dread going out in fear of my arm being pulled out of its socket.

I would highly recommend empire dogs Seb really knows what he’s doing and the most important part is Rocco absolutely loved it too.

Jon has been helping me with my fear reactive French bulldog for a couple of weeks now and I can’t recommend him enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to put his name forward as a highly competent, reliable and dedicated trainer. I had taken Buddy to two previous trainers before him and hadn’t received any positive results. That made me feel like I was never going to be able to live a normal life with Buddy as his is so stubborn. I was honestly at my whits end before we started working with him. I was scared to have people over, scared to pass people or other dogs in the street and had little knowledge of why he was behaving the way he was. I used to walk him as early as possible to avoid ever seeing anyone which limited both our lives. Since working with Jon I have understood him so much more and have seen such amazing changes. He still has a way to go but seeing how he responds to Jon and how much he has improved gives me so much hope. Jon takes the time to go over his behaviour and explain what steps we are taking a why. I can now walk him to heal, walk him past people without any fear and can have people in the house while buddy remains neutral. His advice and guidance has even helped improve the behaviour of Buddy’s non reactive (but very pully) sister. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and can’t thank him enough.

Before today we couldn’t enjoy a nice calm walk without Reggie pulling us left and right, tripping us up and reacting to everything. So happy with the results and actually being able to have a conversation, with each other without worrying about what the dog is going to do.

Furthermore we received great advice and training about things we were struggling with at home, when new people would enter the house. At the end he was like a completely different dog.

Can’t thank Empire Dogs enough for helping us with Bruce! We reached out to Seb regarding Bruce’s reactivity and pulling on lead, he booked us straight in for a free 15-min assessment and we had our training session the following weekend!

Walks with Bruce just weren’t enjoyable anymore and with him being so big it was difficult to hold him back. After just 2 hours with Seb he taught us how to have Bruce walking perfect to heel and passing dogs with no reactivity!

It’s now been 2 days since our training session and Bruce is like a new dog! We’ve had no reactions on walks and he walks perfectly by my side until he is told “free”! Walks are now enjoyable thanks to Empire Dogs!

We have an 18 month old entire male, 50kg German Shepherd.  He is very reactive to other people and dogs.  Having tried other dog training methods and different trainers with no improvement we decided to give Empire Dogs (Seb) a go with immediate results.

By the end of our 2 hr session we were able to walk our dog to heel around busy public areas with little to no reaction.  We know that we still have some way to go but after the first session the change and improvement in our GSD is both welcome and noticeable.  Its restored our faith and confidence to venture out with him and not to come back home a nervous wreck.
